“To the eyes of the man of imagination, nature is imagination itself. As a man is, so he sees. As the eye is formed, such are its powers.” - William Blake

I write part of the day and I like to make something part of the day. Just started a fourth book of epigrams and a new series of masks. I find art more of an adventure than writing because when I write I generally have an idea where I’m going, but when I paint I have no idea where I’m going. Made my first mask over 50 years ago, and though I doubt I’ve gotten any better at it, the thrill and fascination of making them remains undiminished.
