Between the day’s work (epigrams) and the evening’s work (more epigrams), comes the cocktail hour. I like to have a drink or two, never more, at 5:00 sharp. Drugs have their points, I have to admit I never met one I didn’t like, but no drug holds a candle to a beautifully crafted Bloody. Or what drug could grace a thick, nicely charred bloody rare bone-in rib-eye as does a fragrant Pinot? Bloodys are not a drink needing a recipe - you just make them to taste with whatever tickles your palate. Spicy for me.
